Thought I would toss up a render I did for a Dragoon friend on my Linkshell. DRG's don't get the respect they deserve so here's a little homage to our airborne friends.

Re: {Jump} - Dragoon Render
Maybe they could make jump a little stronger or a little more acurate or reduce recharge- it is annoying that the only job ability i have takes 2 minutes to charge and when i do use it either misses or does 4 dmg

Re: {Jump} - Dragoon Render
They have changed Drg almost every update since the release in america, and the best they have done for it is return a portion of the power they had before the major TP change in the begining. They totaly rearranged the melee gameplay and somehow wonder why the class that had a fan focus on TP gain became unpopular suddenly, wow, maybe thick shafts are uncomfortable? Every change as far as I can remember were simple compensations for his remaining strengths to raise the bar on Drg, from the addition to Spirit Link, to the wyverns involvement in Super Jump. Until they actually ADD something empowering, Drg will remain unpopular, no matter how effective they can be. And by "something", I'm not reffering to the addition of (the absolute worst) pulling option via pebbles, how insulting can they possibly be?
Drgs need something new, and before you get on your "Drgs are secretly the best DoT in the game" possition, I will remind yal that there is more to offer in a battle then damage. Being able to pull, being able to take a hit, being able to provide powerful SC closers for more powerful MB, which could make use of your wyverns breath MB which only works if you get to follow a WS or close a MB, being able to steal enemy stats and stun, being able to control agro instead of cowardily dodge it, and more, are all skills that other DD have, Drg is the least resourceful DD in the game. And before you pull your only party friendly Thief helper card out of your spread, the best way to utilize a thief is to gain agro from the tank via provoke and a powerful attack, and let the thief put it back on the tank, Most DD can do that and take less damage, and it doesn't require High Jump to return agro to the tank.
Yeah, Drg has the Best DoT, and nothing else, oh, thats only if they can keep their paper mache "dragon" alive in all those "significant" battles, otherwise they par at best, and still provide 0 tactical asset to the party. Reducing your agro, and special Cure Breath are the worst party assests a DD can bring to the common party. Remember that when your trying to convince parties that they are simply ignoring the not obvious higher DoT you do, and that they are total newbs for valuing something besides "dry" damage.Learning > Intelligence > Experience. Weak minds are subject to experience before realization. Inteligent minds understand quickly with minimal experience. Learned minds excersise knowledge gained from study, and do not require experience to reach realization. Which is your claim?
